Why Leaders Choose StratOp
More Than an Event –
On top of your initial strategic planning sessions with a licensed StratOp Guide, Paterson StratOp will empower your team to move from planning into action. The StratOp process helps ensure your team has the tools and system to integrate your strategic plan into the day-to-day operations of your organization.
Your StratOp engagement will be a year long strategic planning and operationalization of your plan.
Our clients choose StratOp (c) not only because of it’s profound ability to help their team craft unified strategic plans unique to their organization, but because it then helps them transform that “Plan on a Page” into real world action items that your team starts working on immediately.
StratOp plans don’t get left on the shelf; they get turned into impact.
What to Expect – Your StratOp Experience
Phase I – Crafting Your Plan
Phase I is a multi-day strategic planning event led by a licensed StratOp Guide, where your team is guided from Perspective (Where Are We Now?) through Planning (Where are we headed?) to Action (What’s important now?).
At the end of these sessions, your team will walk away with alignment and focus not only on where you want to go but what you need to do now to get there.
Phase II – Building Momentum
During Phase II, your team will meet with their project teams and put a project plan together for each of your strategic initiatives, bridging the gap from where your are today to the next stage in achieving your strategic plan. Each project plan is then compiled into an organization wide plan that allows you and your team to manage the process from a strategic lens (How Are We Doing?).
Phase II usually takes 4-6 weeks.
Phase III – Manage, Review, Adapt
In Phase III, we move into managing the strategic process, continuing alignment, and ensuring we maintain momentum. Quarterly strategic reviews allow your team to maintain strategic focus and adapt as new realities arise.
During Phase III, your team stacks W.I.N.s (What’s Important Now), consistently moving your organization towards successfully completing your strategic plan.
Grant Program Overview
Purpose
The purpose of the Nonprofit StratOp Program is to level the playing field for nonprofits looking to transform their vision into a powerful, mission fueled strategic plan that accelerates their impact.
Overview
Strategic Planning helps nonprofits more efficiently use their resources to grow their impact for the good of the people and communities they serve.
Every year, we offer the Nonprofit StratOp Program for up to three (3) nonprofits that are looking to grow their impact and would benefit from the clarity and alignment for the path forward that StratOp has provided other nonprofits with local and global reach.
The program will provide a credit through either a price reduction or grant for up to $46,000 for each of the organizations chosen. Please note, the credit will reduce the cost of the 12-month StratOp Engagement to $8,000–a typical Nonprofit StratOp will range in price from $24,000 – $54,000–however, the program does not cover the entire cost. We do this to allow us to serve more communities each year. (The Nonprofit StratOp Program award will cover up to 89% of the cost.)

“Brad did an amazing job! I found his storytelling and real life examples to very engaging and memorable. The benefit to Expunge Colorado is now we have tools to help us sustainably grow. He helped us identify areas where we need to focus and areas where we need to be more intentional and think through which helps with our limited bandwidth and resources.
This strategic facilitation was instrumental to our growth and our plans for the future. Our 2-day session were extremely valuable to where we are and how we grow as an emerging nonprofit.”

What is StratOp?
